HOOOOOLY shit. So Taco C has been a late night staple of mine since I was young, but I usually get a couple of tacos ala carte. Their Fajita meals are meant to feed a couple of people, and thus used to be priced at like $15, enough for two people to split.

Just went to the drive through and was looking on the menu, and see that a fajita platter is now $38.99

what. the. fuck. How can fajita meat and tortillas be so damn expensive?! Does anybody ever buy those things from Taco C? I honestly can't believe the price.

It was never great food or anything, but the combination of being open 24/7 (and thus perfect post-club food) and being cheap was what Taco C was all about.

$40 fucking dollars for some bad cuts of meat? Like I'm legitimately shocked, even after driving home.
