Kanye "YE" West raps as unbranded Perrier water bottle, delivers thought provoking pro-Trump rant

Variety / Vanity Fair

Kanye West—who has appeared on six previous episodes as well as the 40th anniversary special—showed up to perform “I Love It” and “K.T.S.E..” Then, in lieu of the traditional cast farewell over the closing credits, West grabbed his MAGA hat and the mic once more for a third song: “Ghost Town.” Twitter was already digging into Kanye for both the hat and his lackluster performances on those songs when footage of the singer that didn’t make it to air cropped up online. After he finished his final song, video of West captured by a laughing, astonished Chris Rock popped up on Instagram. The singer can be seen rambling about the Democrats, Get Out’s “The Sunken Place,” and Donald Trump.
Behind West in the footage you can see several cast members and host Adam Driver looking at times confused and taken aback. Head writer Colin Jost starts shaking his head and laughing as did Rock who at one point seems to whisper “my god” from behind his phone’s camera. According to an eyewitness who spoke with Variety, “The entire studio fell dead silent“ as West carried on. In conclusion, West turned around and thanked the cast for the platform “even though some of y’all don’t agree.”

"Follow your heart, not your mind, that's how they control you" has got to be one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. Maybe if he used his mind he would see how much of a fucking tool he is.

Kanye perfectly illustrates the feels over reals idiocy permeating American politics.

"Follow your heart, instead of your mind" doesn't sound like the best advice you could give people. And why is it in his heart to follow a racist, protofascist? This is just disturbing on so many levels. Can't imagine how his fans are dealing with this? Pretend it's a joke?

Oh how far he's fallen. This is the man that Brought us Jesus Walks.

Losing Donda broke the man. He really needs to get back on his meds. The message he is sending young people that are bipolar that it's a "superpower" and shouldn't be medicated is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.

Anyone supporting Kanye in any way other than if it's a matter of supporting him in going back to taking his meds should just go the fuck away. Fuck Kanye West and his dangerous idiocy.

Kanye is a clown flopping around creating spectacle and garnering attention because he has something to sell us. Once that is no longer the case he’ll go back into hiding. Don’t think too much of this shit
